A three week introductory course in developing the insights and skills necessary to transform conflicts into opportunities to live from your deepest values, to learn and develop a way forward which maximizes the positive results for all parties.
This course will introduce participants to an approach to conflict which is based on research in the fields of Human Communication, Social Psychology, and specific studies of high level conflict. Participants may find it useful to acquire Conflict Without Casualties by Nate Regier, Ph.D., Dignity by Donna Hicks, Ph.D. and Compassionate Communication by Andrea S. Cohen. The coursework will include lecture, discussion and experiential learning designed to develop insights, develop and refine interactive skills and the skills of emotional self regulation. The course is designed to be useful for anyone who finds herself or himself in difficult conflict situations as well as professionals who routinely work with conflict in practicing their profession.
The course will begin on the 14th of June 7:00 to 9:00 pm and 15th 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and will repeat the same schedule on June 21st / 22nd and June 28th/29th.
The course cost is $300.00 and limited to 12 participants.
